I just got the book Recipes for Life from God's Garden and I am so pleased with it. It is chucked full of great and inspiring receipes that are plain and simple, yet very tasty. There are lots of suggestions on preparing and what substitutes can be used to make a very healthy and appealing meals. Great ideas on how to stock your pantry to grocery shopping. Tips on preparing the food to make it tasty and what foods to combine to get the most out of your mealtime. Lots of good health tips and the book is spiral bond so is easy to lay on the counter and read the receipe. I am very pleased and happy to have obtained this cook book. I will be looking for more possible cook books from this author.
This book has all sorts of recipes useful for the vegan cook in your family. There is also a helpful chart which guides those with a touchy stomach in which foods combine well with others. I have printed this chart and put it in a page protector, veggie combinations on one side and fruit combinations on the other. If a person follows this guide, much gastro-intestinal distress can be avoided.
Excellent book; in the 1st 1/4 of the book it taught me things I had either forgotten or just plain didn't know. The rest of the book has lots of recipes that look interesting.
I like that the book is in good condition, clearly written, easy to understand & full of healthful ideas. They do have 5 pages of vegetable juice recipes as well as 3 pages of fruit juice recipes, which is the whole reason I purchased this book. Someone else's review said the pages were laminated. My book isn't & while it was a let-down, it's not major. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

No cooking, hardly any clean up - what's not to like?
This was a replacement for one I had ages ago. Worth the low price this time around!
good recipes, I need gluten free, sugar free, dairy free, soy free, animal products free, & the recipes here are easier to change. Tasty too!
